Leeds opera star shares the red carpet with the stars in Venice.

A LEEDS mum walked on the red carpet with the stars at the Venice Film Festival attending the world premiere of the [pounds sterling]15m movie she appears in.

Opera star Kim Marie-Woodhouse, from Calverley, was given the VIP treatment when she attended the launch of The Magic Flute alongside Kenneth Branagh.

Kim-Marie and husband Dominic Burn met Kenneth Branagh who wrote and directed the film. He was at the premiere with his family.

Speaking from her Venice Hotel, Kim-Marie said: "It has been one of the most amazing experiences of our lives.
