Gritty realism: Film portrays miner's life.

CULTURE vultures at top international film festivals could be getting a gritty taste of life at the coal face thanks to a new short film made by a Leeds director.

Up-and-coming director Marcus Dyachenko, 27, has been directing and producing the film One Last Time, shooting on location at Wakefield's National Coal Mining Museum, Stanley Cricket Club near Wakefield, and the village of Penistone, near Barnsley.
