Nene Valley Harriers captain Adam retains Cambridgeshire mile title.

NENE Valley Harriers captain Adam Binns retained his county mile title when the event was held within the Cambridgeshire Development Meeting at St Ives.

Although he represents Lincolnshire in team events, Binns qualifies for the Cambridgeshire Championships as he was born in the county and he repeated his victory of last year as he won by four seconds from training partner Josh Reed.

Binns' girlfriend Jess Williams won the women's title and clubmate Charlotte Hinch took the Under 17 race, and there was a gold medal and personal best for Hunts Athletic ...
