Dan Wilson dispelled any notions of tough conditions and difficult winter-ravished putting surfaces.

He recorded an outstanding round of golf in the Bury St Edmunds men's Midweek Stableford.

Wilson, who rejoined the club last year following a spell at Diss, handed in a winning 43 Stableford points in Division One - and he was playing from a handicap allowance of only four.

Following a couple of bogeys in a front nine of 38, the 35-year-old harvested five birdies in a home run of five under par 31.
