Rose C. (Garofalo) Calabria, 83, formerly of Mattydale, died Thursday at Sunnyside Care Center in East Syracuse. She was a native of Syracuse and was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Anna Garofalo. She had lived in Glendale, California, from 1950-1980 and then in Mattydale for 19 years before moving to Sunnyside Care Center in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Louis Calabria, in 2001 and by three siblings, James, Dominick and Angie.
