Fears over Leconfield's future.

UNION officials were in London this week after fears were raised over the future of the Defence School of Transport at Leconfield - one of the area's largest employers.

They were seeking assurances over the future of the DST amid the possible threats of job losses and privatisation.

A delegation of civilian staff and union officials warned the Government that any changes could have a large impact on the local economy.
