AROUND 130 people paid their respects at the funeral of former councillor and trade union stalwart John Dick.
Family, friends, colleagues from the trade union movement and Labour Party, Kirklees councillors and Batley and Spen MP Mike Wood were among mourners at Dewsbury Crematorium.
John, 65, who was born in Birstall, died on March 24 at Dewsbury and District Hospital after a short illness.
