WATSONVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 1996--West Marine, Inc. (NASDAQ: WMAR) announced today the signing of a definitive merger agreement for West Marine to acquire E&B Marine, Inc. (NASDAQ:EBMA).
Under the terms of the merger agreement, E&B Marine will become a subsidiary of West Marine and the stockholders of E&B Marine will receive shares of West Marine common stock.
The actual number of shares and total value of the transaction will depend upon the average closing price of West Marine's stock for the 15 trading days before the closing as outlined ...
