BRUNSWICK ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC REFOCUSING OF BUSINESS

LAKE FOREST, Ill., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) today announced a strategic refocusing of major portions of its Recreation segment and fishing boat businesses. Concurrent with the acquisition of the Nelson/Weather-Rite camping business and the establishment of the Brunswick Outdoor Recreation Group, Brunswick will acquire the Boston Whaler line of offshore boats and divest its fresh water fishing boat brands.
