Agrika to purchase Stavropol Broiler from Agros for $126 mln

MOSCOW. July 15. (Interfax) - OJSC Agrika Food Products plans to acquire Stavropol Broiler for around $126 million from Agros Group, Agrika said in a statement.

The statement said that company would purchase a 95% stake in CJSC Broiler Kompleksnie Investitsii, which, in turn, owns a 100% stake in Stavropol Broiler.

Agrika's general director, Dmitry Kolokatov, was cited in the statement as saying that the acquisition was part of the group's expansion strategy in the key food-producing ...
