SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 1996--Maxtor Corp. today announced the appointment of six senior company executives in operations, technology, finance, materials, information technology and strategic planning.

Patrick Verderico, 52, has been named to the new position of executive vice president and chief operating officer, responsible for quality, Asian manufacturing operations, worldwide materials, program management, business planning, information systems, finance and human resources. He reports to Dr. C.S. Park, president and chief executive officer.…
