Evelyn Louise "Evie" (Wasson) Farnum of Boston, a real estate broker, died June 21 at her home. She was 84.

Born in Meadville, Pa., she lived in Cleveland before moving to Boston. She had lived in Boston's Harbor Towers for the past 35 years.

She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in industrial psychology.

During college, Mrs. Farnum started a desk-blotter advertising business. She later marketed a line of handblocked resort wear that was sold in Bergdorf Goodman and other stores. In 1980, she started the East India Trading Co., a marketing ...
