A ZIMBABWEAN producer used a visit to the Llangollen International Eisteddfod yesterday to talk candidly about life under Robert Mugabe's regime.

Saimon Phiri, 33, who has himself suffered violence at the hands of Mugabe's regime, insisted the West must keepout of Zimbabwe's affairs as he appeared with his 26-strong song and dance troupe.

A report from the South African Development Community (SADC) Election Observer Mission declared the country's recent vote - won by Mr Mugabe, below, after rival Morgan Tsvangirai pulled out - "null and void".
