FIVE men face long jail sentences after being convicted of an international plot to smuggle pounds 500,000-worth of cannabis into Birmingham.
The huge drugs haul was discovered hidden in the false bottom of heavy machinery being transported in from Holland.
Detectives found the "cleverly concealed" 96kg of cannabis after it was tracked to the Midlands from a port in the south of England last May.
