The theft of [pounds sterling]14 worth of takeaway food ended in three teenagers losing their lives in a horrific car smash following a road chase, Chelmsford Crown Court has been told.

The bodies of the three 15-year-olds - Richard Warren from Halstead, Christopher Jolley from Little Maplestead, and Danny Archer from Sible Hedingham - were found by police thrown from their car following the horror crash on the A131 near Halstead.
