HUD announced it is extending the public comment period on the Bush administration's long-awaited new proposed reforms to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).

Originally set to expire on May 13, the public-comment period on HUD's proposed RESPA reforms has been extended an additional 30 days, until June 13, due to popular demand, according to HUD Deputy Secretary Roy A. Bernardi.
