THE black skies and pouring rain which have marred Wales' summer so far could continue thanks to a little-known weather system far out in the Atlantic.
While many might see the gloomy weather as symptomatic of the environmental ravages of climate change, weather forecasters say the grey skies have a more prosaic background.
Jonathan Powell, senior forecaster at Wales' only independent weather forecasters Positive Weather Solutions says the Azores High (or lack of it) is to blame.
