There were 38 companies on the list of Karachi Stock Exchange in Sugar & Allied sector in 1994. Of these we have analysed 33 companies, while the Annual Reports of Adam and Frontier were not available at the time of preparation of this report. The total Paid-up Capital of these 33 companies stood at Rs. 34814.11 million, while Free Reserves and Surplus stood at Rs. 1839.35 million during the year under review.
