TORONTO -- Getting from Niagara-on-the-Lake to the Quebec border would not normally take eight days -- unless you go by bicycle.
That's how the Waterfront Regeneration Trust proposes to do it.
The group is organizing a summer bike tour that will follow a 680-kilometre route along the Lake Ontario shoreline and the St. Lawrence River.
"The waterfront communities are preparing to roll out the red carpet to welcome riders -- experienced and recreational of all ages," said Marlaine Koehler, executive director of the Trust.
