STERLING - Selectman Paul Sushchyk is hoping Wednesday night's Board of Selectmen meeting will serve to allay fears in Clinton that Sterling has power to prevent Clinton from drawing water from the Wekepeke Reservoir for its own municipal use.
"Sterling selectmen are going to discuss that issue on Wednesday," Sushchyk said. "We will try to provide some assurance to the town of Clinton that, basically, in the board's view, the town of Clinton has a right to the water."
