Rapper-actress Queen Latifah recently was arrested in Southern California for allegedly carrying a loaded I pistol and possessing marijuana, according to police.

Queen Latifah, whose read name is Dana Owens, was allegedly driving 75 mph in Queen a 65 mph zone when her 1995 BMW was stopped for speeding, said California Highway Patrol Officer Garry Goldenberg.

Goldenberg said one of the officers who stopped her for speeding smelled the odor of burnt marijuana and "he asked Miss Owens if she had been smoking and she said, `Yes.'" He continued by saying the officers ...
