STUDENTS from the Cumbernauld Iaksa kickboxing club recently competed in the first All-Styles Contact Circuit of the year which was held in the Sir Matt Busby Leisure Centre, Bellshill.

The competition boasted over 200 competitiors on the day.

Various martial art styles fought in the open competition including kung fu, taekwondo, karate and kickboxing.

Cumbernauld fighters did extremely well on the day.

Richard McMillan took third place in the beginner men's 80kg semi-contact section.
