Governor visits Town Hall tomorrow; Patrick to deliver economic news.(LOCAL NEWS)

ATHOL - He's not the Duke of Atholl, but town officials are almost as excited to hear that Gov. Deval L. Patrick will be in town tomorrow.

Becky Deusser, a spokeswoman for Mr. Patrick, said the governor will be in Athol tomorrow, at 4:30 p.m. in Athol Town Hall, to make an economic development announcement. She said that prior to visiting Athol, the governor will be in Fitchburg to make a similar announcement.

The specifics will be made known when the governor arrives tomorrow, but Town Manager David B. Ames said that any announcement that helps ...
