SALEM, N.H. -- StockerYale, Inc. (NASDAQ: STKR), a leading designer and manufacturer of structured light lasers, LED modules and specialty optical fibers for industrial OEMs, medical and defense markets, today announced the availability of a new thulium-doped ("Tm-doped") optical fiber product for fiber lasers.

Tm-doped fiber lasers, which lase in the 1800 to 2200 nm range, show substantial promise as "eye-safe" lasers for LIDAR (contour mapping), remote gas sensing, and other military and security applications. Tm-doped fiber lasers are also expected to be deployed ...
