The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, on behalf of the Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, today announced that the city of Baie-Comeau will receive federal funding to support environmentally sustainable municipal infrastructure that contributes to cleaner air, water and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
