Ovid Technologies' online graphical interface is well-designed. The interface enables users to access about 80 databases, including MEDLINE, EMBASE, BIOSIS and PharmaContacts. The Ovid graphical software, which currently runs on Windows 3.1, offers search tools for both the novice and professional user. The software features onscreen help, well-designed pop-up and pull-down menus, browsable index fields and topical limiting of searches.
