Canadian Redemptorist Fr. Mark Miller, director of the Redemptorist Bioethics Consultancy for Western Canada and an experienced educator on moral issues, provides in this text an excellent introduction to many interrelated factors in the art of moral living. Using concrete issues from everyday life, Miller deals with morality, conscience, civil law, social customs and religious faith. He describes the art of ethics as the "art of living," and his aim is to enable his readers to achieve wisdom in living rather than simply analyze answers to isolated moral dilemmas.
