MIAMI (FNS) -- Di Milo Shoes doesn't have the name recognition on the mainland that its sister operation, Almacenes Rodriguez, does in Puerto Rico. But maybe it's just a matter of time.
If Di Milo general manager Mari-Lourdes Rodriguez has anything to say about it, the four-unit Miami-based chain will continue its metamorphosis from a losing proposition to a promising, expanding retail operation.
Thus far, Rodriguez has had a lot to say. Her marketing acumen and shoe business background are largely responsible for Di Milo's turnaround.
