Congress left HUD on the back burner in 1995, but housing industry officials are hoping next year will be a different story.
Those officials say they are anxious for legislators to make decisions about the future of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and of major bond-related programs like the Section 8 rent subsidy program, HOME, and the Community Development Block Grant program.
