Both Hurricanes Marilyn and Opal struck the islands of the Caribbean in Sep 1995 and Oct 1995. Hurricane Marilyn killed ten people when it passed over St. Thomas and the US Virgin Islands, and eight of the deaths were boat-related. Hurricane Opal killed 27 people when it passed over Alabama, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.
