HONOLULU -- Bazedoxifene is safe and effective in reducing the risk of new vertebral fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, according to the results of a 3-year, phase III, placebo-controlled trial presented at the annual meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
