Nearly 3,000 prescriptions have been filled by Oswego County residents using the prescription discount cards sent out in February.

"Oswego County is off to a very good start," said Mike Maenza, account executive of ProAct, a pharmacy benefit management company that runs the program. "Oswego County's rate of participation is significantly higher than neighboring counties that are enrolled in the program."
