Renovating the Old Administration Building at Fresno City College -- long considered one of the city's architectural crown jewels -- will cost another $19 million, college officials said Wednesday.

Earlier estimated to cost $41 million, the project total now is $60 million. Low construction estimates and rising material costs are blamed for an increase that caught college officials by surprise.
