EVER since a colleague did a Technicolor yawn over his typewriter, I have suspected that computer keyboards can be a bigger health risk than a lavatory seat.
Now we have proof. Research for Which? Magazine by a microbiologist found that samples from 33 keyboards harboured a variety of bugs, including E coli and S aureus, which can cause skin infections and make people ill.
One of the keyboards was five times dirtier than an office...
