A Tualatin boxmaker plans to build a 60,000-square-foot warehouse in west Eugene with the aim of launching operations next winter, according to paperwork filed with city planners.

The proposed Eugene "distribution hub" would be the fourth major location for Columbia Corrugated Box Co., a privately held firm with locations in Tualatin, Medford and Mukilteo. The firm also has maintained a small sales office in Springfield for the past dozen years.
