Although it wasn't the preferred plan, the Syracuse Crunch proved itself successful at something new Saturday night -- racehorse hockey.
Syracuse defenseman Marc Methot scored on a wraparound rush with 30 seconds left in overtime to cap a wild series of comebacks and push the Crunch to a 6-5 win over Lake Erie at the Onondaga County War Memorial.
