Syracuse Mayor Matt Driscoll unveiled his proposed budget for 2008-09 Tuesday, and city school officials weren't pleased with the numbers.
The budget gives the Syracuse City School District $1 million more than what it received in 2007-08. That came from a 1.1 percent increase in the tax base, the overall value of taxable property in the city, Driscoll said.
