Here's some good news for residents in the villages of Skaneateles and Elbridge: Their village property taxes will likely stay the same for the 2008-09 fiscal year.

According to Skaneateles' preliminary budget, the tax rate will remain $3.36 per $1,000 of assessed property. And Elbridge's tax rate will stay at $1 per $1,000, if the numbers in Elbridge's preliminary budget remain the same.
