PEOPLE in the county of Monmouthshire have the best quality of life in rural Wales, research claimed today.
A new survey released by the Halifax Estate Agency chain has found residents of Monmouthshire are healthier, live longer and get fatter pay packets than anyone else in rural Wales.
And they also have the biggest houses, with their homes boasting an average of six rooms, and the most expensive property.
