The Nieman Foundation, in its continuing tradition of reinforcing the importance and relevance of watchdog journalism, has agreed to administer the Worth Bingham Prize for Investigative Reporting. The Bingham Memorial Fund was established in 1967 by Joan Bingham and her daughter Clara, to honor Joan's husband, Worth Bingham, who died in an automobile accident in 1966.
