The FIRST Robotics competition is becoming increasingly popular in many schools. As the push for better science and math education continues, the competition is becoming a great way to pique students' interest in science and engineering. In Minnesota, 54 high school teams are competing this year, up from only two in 2006. The competition's growth in the state is being attributed to technology companies pushing science and technology education.
