THE co-owner of an office automation company has lost a Cape High Court bid to interdict retired South African cricketer Brian McMillan, one of the company directors, from taking over clients or enticing staff members to move to a company he is setting up.

Corporate Business Automation (Pty) Ltd is one of the shareholders in Tygerberg Minolta, which sells and maintains office equipment.

McMillan was the other shareholder in Tygerberg Minolta and was appointed managing director, responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.
