A senior center is more than a building, more than a bingo hall; more than a place old people go to eat lunch. It is a gathering place, a place to renew old friendships, and make new ones. It is a place to receive support when you are in need, a place to find comfort when it is needed, and a place to learn new skills, such as knitting and woodcarving, as well as computers, chair caning and painting.
