A special effects artist pointed out that the supposed alien shown being dissected on national television could have easily been faked by making a rubber mold from a sculpted clay figure. The alien's features, such as extra digits, humanoid frame and strange internal organs are also readily made using molds. The inside would be supported by metal frames to hold up the body and to allow limited movement of the limbs.
