After over a decade of development, China has become a major producer, consumer and exporter of household electric appliances. It is expected that development of the household electric appliance sector in China will stabilize in the next few years and the average annual growth of new products will reach 12%-15%. With the requirements for light weight, extreme thinness and declining cost of products, the consumption and the application scope of plastics in household electric appliances will grow.
