Archaeological research on Ti'innik, a small village along the northern border of the West Bank, reveals that the area has been intermittently inhabited for c. 5000 years. Ti'innik underwent a significant cultural transformation during the Ottoman period. Some of the components of the ethnographic material culture were maintained while others were either transformed or disappeared during this period.
