A NEW snub has come for the group which runs Louth Museum - the Naturalists', Antiquarian and Literary Society.

Miffed at missing out on the award of a grant from Louth Town Council, its president, David Robinson, lodged a protest at last week's council meeting.

Revealing the society incurred a [pounds sterling]5,000 loss last year, he said it had never previously been 'denied' an annual grant from the town council over a period stretching back some 40 years. ...
