A spatio-temporal larval distribution model of the nuisance midge Glyptotendipes paripes Edwards (Diptera: Chironomidae) was used to design resource efficient sampling plans for the assessment of location(s) supporting nuisance population levels of this species in Lake Monroe (central Florida, USA).
