BLOODLINES ensure that Offaly hero Mick Fitzgerald makes no apologies for supporting Tipperary in tomorrow's Allianz Division Four National Football League final in Portloaise.

Fitzgerald was corner-back on the Offaly team that shocked Kerry in the 1982 All-Ireland final, when he put the clampers on no less a man than Mikey Sheehy, but living in Clonmel for 11 years has seen his son Niall grow up as a Tipperary man.
