NEW YORK--Christmas shoppers this year will be looking for sales and no lines at the registers, according to a nationwide survey of a thousand consumers conducted by the National Retail Practice of Computer Sciences Corp.
They plan to do the bulk of their gift buying in discount and department stores, the survey found.
